What happens when you mix one high end Taiwanese-American designer  (Alexander Wang) with  a high street French brand (Sandro), the results are simply FABULOUS . Sandro is one of my favorite brands and their collection this fall is absolutely beautiful. I discovered the French brand at the Marais a couple of years ago in Paris. I was excited when a friend of mine told me they we're opening a stand alone store in New York  on Bleecker Street. Imagine my disappointment when I got there and it was still under construction! Just as well, I would have spent all my savings.

I cherish days like this, when I can kick back with a like-minded friend, sip some iced coffee and talk about everything and anything. Boys, the new Alex Wang sweater that has just been ordered and of course more talk about boys....

If you want to find me these days, you will probably find me buried in a pile of books in the library. Sad, but that's my life for now and I rather enjoy it. I totally forgot how many perks students get. When I was in university in London I never took full advantages of those perks. Now I can't wait to flash my discounted travel pass amongst other things.
Going back to school was a decision that came surprisingly easy to me. I come from a family of academics. I've lost count at how many degrees my father has. I remember thinking when I was younger, the moment I was done with my first degree I'd hang it all up and have fun forever. I've since realised that its impossible.If you want to get ahead in this competitive world, you have to keep learning; whether its going back to school or learning on the job. The moment we decide to stop learning, we might as well be dead.

2. Banana Bread made by the lovely Vanessa. My favorite guilty pleasure.
3. Topshop Wedges...why get one when you can get two!
4. Flowers to brighten up my apartment...winter can be so dark and depressing.
5. My ipad (albeit old) it allows me to check out my favorite blogs on the go.

Rihanna is definitely not a little girl anymore and has come far from her Pon de Replay days. While I'm not a huge fan of hers I can definitely relate to this song...minus the pill popping.

I had to resist calling this post Twining (for all you Jersey Shore fans, you know exactly what I mean)
Meet Fola and Fela. Fashion entrepreneurs and the owners of Alex Folzi, a Canadian based Fashion line. The boys are known for the hard case trunks amongst other things.

Ashton and I met up with the boys to shoot towards the end of summer. I laughed till my jaws hurt. They are terribly funny, but also very ambitious. No doubt, I'll be seeing their work on the pages of Vogue very soon.

This last image is my favorite. The boys are identical and I kid you not, unless you know them well there is no way of telling who is who. I think this image shows you their personality.

I can't for the life of me remember why I haven't updated my blog in over a month. Between having a full time job and going to school full time, blogging can sometimes take a back seat. I'm going to try my possible best to be as consistent as I can be.

I love the Fall. Its my favorite season for fashion. Its the season you can layer up and hide a multitude of sins. This season I've stocked up on over-sized cardi's and over-sized scarfs. I can't wait to wrap up. I've recently discovered the joys of wedges. When they first came back in season, I refused to even look at them. I found these Topshop ones and I'm ashamed to say, I fell in love with them. Not only did I buy one, I bought two pairs in different colors. A girl is allowed to change her mind, non?

I've been thinking for a while now about getting a new tattoo. I've got two. One I got when I was young and tres foolish. And the other one on my wrist that says 'Ayo' which means Joy and is also my mum's name. I  can't decide between the two beautiful images my lovely artist friend Ola designed for me. I guess I'll just have to wait till I'm double...triple sure!
