So I thought I'd switch things up a little. Conventional pictures gets boring after a while and like I said, I've been lacking some inspiration. My friend (videographer: Gabriel Forezli) and I got together and shot this...I always enjoy working with him...he just gets me and he's always ready to go over and beyond. And I'm very self critical...he had to get the angles right *diva alert*.

I'm not a big fan of denim. I find jeans uncomfortable. Believe it or not if I could live in yoga pants forever, well I do live in Vancouver - The Holy Land of Lululemon. However I made a pit stop to H&M before my trip to Lagos and I thought why not?? It seems to work. Then I took it a step further and paired in with the jeans, denim on denim! The outfit turned out to be very comfortable!!!
 These shoes are fast becoming my favorite pair, I have abandoned all my other 'babies', I got them from Zara not long ago and believe me, they are the most comfortable pair shoes in the world!! As a result I probably will be wearing on the next couple of posts! Stay tuned!

I'm sorry for abandoning my blog and my readers. I was lacking the required inspiration to blog and I felt blehhhhh. I really can not explain it, taking pictures of yourself requires for you to have a certain  level of self esteem and mine in the last few months have not been very high. Do not get me wrong, I love myself and you will usually find me on rooftops preaching and reciting the 'love thyself' mantras...but sometimes, just sometimes, I don't feel up to par and I do crazy things like abandon my blog. I wonder if Naomi Campbell feels like this sometimes?
Well not to worry guys...'my issues' have been sorted and I am back and ready to tango!

Le Petit Marche is a shopping experience that happens in Lagos every month. Its an avenue for fashionable Lagosians to shop local designers and also an amazing place to network with other people in the fashion industry. I was fortunate enough to catch the February edition at their new venue, L'Espace.
I ended up with one piece from Eclectic By Sasha. Hopefully I'll wear it in a blog post soonish!

I made a trip to Lagos two weeks ago. I love visiting Nigeria and I make a trip whenever I can, because my better half lives there. Nigeria is always amazing. The people, the food, the fashion.  Absolutely everything is amazing. My cousin describes Lagos as a city of ''two cheek kisses, champagne poppers and Christian Louboutins''......well for those who can afford it. Here are some of the images I took during my trip!
